Villa Malù
Villa Malù was developed as a private 2-bedroom villa project in the Bukit area of Uluwatu. The goal was to create a compact yet refined tropical residence that balances structural durability with open, natural living.
Designed for both private use and rental potential, the project focused on efficient spatial planning, natural light optimization, and seamless indoor-outdoor transitions. The result is a calm, functional villa that reflects modern tropical construction principles.
Challenge:
The primary challenge Villa Malù was developed in the Peninsula area of Jimbaran, where site conditions required careful structural planning. The limestone soil composition and exposure to coastal climate demanded reinforced foundation strategies and material durability considerations.
Our Solution:
Our approach focused on structural reinforcement suited to the limestone terrain and careful material selection to withstand coastal exposure. We prioritized ventilation flow, shading strategies, and efficient spatial planning to reduce heat gain while maintaining an open tropical layout.
