Villa Suncrest was developed as a private residential project in Balangan, envisioned as a quiet tropical villa that prioritizes openness, comfort, and structural clarity. The objective was to create a balanced living environment that integrates indoor and outdoor spaces while maintaining durability suited to Bali’s coastal climate.
The project focused on efficient layout planning, natural ventilation, and material selection that supports long-term performance. Through controlled site supervision and careful detailing, the result is a refined and functional residence that embodies contemporary tropical construction principles.
Challenge:
The development of Villa Suncrest in Balangan, Bali required balancing modern tropical design with the natural character of the surrounding landscape. The project aimed to create a villa that feels open, light-filled, and closely connected to its environment while maintaining a sense of privacy and comfort.
Another key challenge was optimizing the spatial layout within a relatively compact footprint. Careful planning was needed to ensure that each area from the living space to the private rooms — remains functional, airy, and visually cohesive.

Our approach focused on creating a light-filled tropical villa that emphasizes openness, natural materials, and spatial comfort. Large windows and strategic openings allow natural light and cross ventilation to flow throughout the living areas.
The open plan layout connects the kitchen, dining, and lounge spaces to create a relaxed and seamless living experience. Natural wood finishes, neutral tones, and clean architectural lines were carefully chosen to complement the surrounding landscape while maintaining a calm and contemporary atmosphere.
