Villa Anara
Villa Anara was developed as a private tropical residence located in the Pecatu area of Uluwatu, designed to offer a calm and spacious living environment within a quiet residential neighborhood. The goal was to create an elegant yet comfortable villa that balances modern design with the warmth of natural materials, reflecting the relaxed lifestyle of Bali’s southern coast.
Designed for both private living and rental potential, the project focused on creating generous living spaces and a clear connection between indoor and outdoor areas. A central pool courtyard forms the heart of the villa, surrounded by distinct living zones that enhance openness and privacy. Natural materials such as Indonesian marble from Java and wood elements sourced from North Bali were incorporated to create a refined tropical atmosphere that feels both modern and authentically Balinese.

Challenge:
The development of Villa Anara in Pecatu, Uluwatu required creating a residence that blends contemporary tropical living with warm architectural character. Surrounded by a quiet residential area, the design needed to provide a strong sense of privacy while still allowing natural light and airflow to move freely throughout the space.
Another key challenge was designing a layout that feels open and relaxing while maintaining a clear connection between indoor and outdoor areas. The villa needed to balance comfort, visual warmth, and functionality, creating a space that feels both refined and welcoming.
Our Solution:
Our approach focused on creating a tropical courtyard style villa that emphasizes openness, natural textures, and a calm living atmosphere. The design incorporates arched architectural elements, natural stone finishes, and warm wood materials to bring softness and character into the space.
Large openings and semi outdoor areas allow natural light and ventilation to flow through the villa while strengthening the connection between the interior spaces and the pool courtyard. The result is a balanced living environment that feels private, airy, and well integrated with the relaxed atmosphere of Uluwatu.
